The heat is on! Ahhh, who doesn't love Chicago summers, when mercury rises to and past 100 degree mark, the humidity makes your hair frizz instantly, and the concrete is hot enough to fry an egg. Being holed up in your apartment with AC…
Pros: delicious frozen custard, walk-up window, take home pints Cons: parking can be challenging, totally addictive

When a friend and I found scooter's, I met my first "frenemy". I don't recall ever having a frenemy (an enemy disguised as a friend) before- at least not one i was aware of. Scooter's feels like a friend- I think it's Chicago's ONLY…

If you have not tried this place, you must!!! I am obsesed with ice cream in the summer and I can't stop going to Scooters! The service is great and the Concrete's are even better. This is by far the best ice cream place in Chicago!!!
